Hi, I’m Emily — and I know how heartbreaking it is to watch your child pull away, change, or struggle in ways you can’t fix with love alone.

I began my journey as a naturopath, completing a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy with the belief that true wellbeing comes from understanding the whole person — not just managing symptoms. But early in my career, I felt called to go deeper, particularly into the mental and emotional struggles I saw unfolding in young people and their families.

That led me to complete a Graduate Diploma in Youth Mental Health, followed by focused training in drug and alcohol support. I spent several years on the frontline — first at a youth mental health triage service, helping families in crisis navigate the system, and later offering longer-term support as a youth drug and alcohol clinician. I worked closely with adolescents and their parents, supporting them through some of the hardest, most confusing moments of their lives.

And through it all, I kept seeing the same thing: families were being offered only part of the solution.
Medication was often the first — and only — response. But I knew there was more to the story. Sleep, nervous system regulation, gut health, nutritional deficiencies, trauma, connection, communication — all of these mattered. And they were being overlooked.

So I returned to my roots in naturopathy with a renewed purpose: to integrate everything I’d learned and offer families a more complete approach. One that honours both science and soul. One that looks at the whole picture. One that actually moves things forward — gently, practically, and in partnership with parents and teens.

Today, I support families who feel lost, worried, and worn out from trying everything. My work is heart-led and evidence-based. It’s about understanding what’s really going on beneath the surface — and building a plan that brings hope, healing, and reconnection.

Because your child is still in there.
You’re not doing this wrong.
And things can get better — together.

If you’re ready for a new approach, I’d be honoured to walk this path with you.
